Dear Elder Sean,
Ok-- that was great talking with you today. I don't know how moms did it in the old days before missionaries were allowed to call home.
Dad's dinner turned out great and later on he made homemade strawberry ice cream. A wonderful day. I talked with my mom and dad tonight and they had a big dinner tonight at Toni's with most of my brothers and sisters. McKenna and Joe are going to be moving to Humboldt, CA later this summer where he is going to a school there. I'm not sure what kind of school it is, maybe a mechanics school. I'll check on that.
Carolina said they had a fun phone call with Axel and he is doing well. He's working very hard to find anyone who might be interested and even listen to a little of what they have to say. I know it's been hard there in France. Only a handful of people listened to Christ when He was on the earth too. It's Carolina's birthday today, so she had quite a treat today. Also Jenn and Gio returned home from their Caribbean cruise honeymoon. They said they had the time of their lives. They have a little home they'll be renting in Provo for another year while Jenn finishes her degree. Gio just graduated and he'll work while she goes to school. I'll try to remember to film more of Carolina speaking in Spanish again if they come for Thanksgiving again. I hope they start making it a tradition. I love having them here. Toni and her kids have already asked if they could come this year.
Our fudge we got today at church for Mother's Day was very good, but I still prefer Dorothy's/Sean's fudge. I guess I got used to it and now prefer it. I'll for sure gather some more marshmellow cream for you.
I hope you have a great week. Enjoy your fall weather and I will be enjoying our spring weather. I just got off the phone with Jan and we are going over all the last minute details of our trip this week. She is shipping mannequins, patterns, fabric, etc through the Winn to the motel we're staying in. Then we haul it all over to the convention center and set up our booth. I'll take pictures so you can see what we've been up to this past year.
Thanks again for making my Mother's day special. Your piano music always relaxes me and brings a smile to my face.
I love you.
