Dear Elder Sean,
I'll make this short since we'll be talking in one more day.....can't wait to hear your voice. We just got home from a visit to the Hansen's. Dad and I each got to hold one of their week old little twin girls. so cute and so tiny.
We've been inundated with goodies each night here, no shortage of food in the house. I'm trying hard to make it through without gaining the average 7 lb. weight gain through the holidays (according to the statistics). We've made quite a few drop-offs to friends too and it's been fun. The girls would have me cook all day every day just for the joy of picking friends to drop things off to. I'm glad they feel the spirit of giving.
Our Sunday meeting was very nice. Beautiful choir music and a pinch of the spoken word. Kirk spoke in his ward and said it went well. We're having dinner with the Erickson's tomorrow, so I'm making the pretzel jello salad right now. It's been snowing here yesterday and today. It's supposed to snow a little more tomorrow so we'll probably have a white Christmas. It's very pretty. We watched Praise To The Man as a family tonight. I know I've said this before, but I can never read enough, or watch enough DVD's about the prophet Joseph. I can't wait to meet him.
I hope you're having an enjoyable week especially being able to meet with lots of other elders. There's a great power and comfort in numbers. I sure miss you especially at this time of the year, but I also have a special love for the people of Argentina and I know the Lord needs you there. Tomorrow, Monday, we'll be opening our little wooden treasure boxes and putting in our gift to Christ for this coming year. Think of the gift you'd like to give Christ too and just make a little note of it in your journal and know that we are doing the same thing here.
Have a great day. Only one more sleep(when you read this) til we talk....
Love you much,
